Meet the Studio & the Artist

Berry & Whiskers Tattoo Studio is a private, home-based studio created to feel like a home away from home.

A Studio Designed Around You

By working on an appointment-only basis, I can offer a relaxed, one-to-one experience where you can feel comfortable, unrushed and completely at ease.

Whether it’s your first tattoo or your fiftieth, I know getting tattooed can feel a little nerve-racking. That’s why I place just as much importance on creating a calm, welcoming environment as I do on creating beautiful tattoos. My goal is for every client to leave not only with a tattoo they love, but also with a positive, enjoyable experience they’ll remember for all the right reasons.

Meet Your Artist - Holly

Holly Freeman-Branch, tattoo artist and owner of Berry & Whiskers
Holly Freeman-Branch

My tattoo journey began in October 2023, and I became fully licensed to tattoo skin in February 2024. I love creating bespoke tattoos, with a particular passion for colour, linework and black and grey shaded designs.

Creativity has always been a huge part of my life. I studied Art at GCSE, A-Level and university, and I’ve always enjoyed turning ideas into something meaningful and unique.

Before becoming a tattoo artist, I worked as a full-time primary school teacher. In 2025, I took the leap to make tattooing my full-time career, a decision I haven’t looked back on. My background in teaching has given me plenty of patience, creativity and a calm, approachable nature, all of which I bring to every tattoo appointment.

Outside of the studio, I’m a huge animal lover and share my home with six very fluffy companions. If you visit the studio, there’s a good chance you’ll hear a few funny stories about their latest adventures!

I’m also a tattoo collector myself and have officially lost count of how many tattoos I have. I know what it’s like to be in the client’s chair, which helps me understand how important it is to feel comfortable, listened to and excited throughout the whole experience.

Originally from Kent, I moved to the Midlands around ten years ago, so you might notice I have a bit of a mixed-up accent!
