Booking & Your Visit

4 questions
What days are you open?

I am generally open 4 days a week between Tuesday to Saturday. I will post my availability on my social media pages however, if you have particular dates in mind please let me know and I will check my availability.

What are your typical opening hours?

My typical opening hours are between 10am-4pm. However, this is only a guide as I may invite you to come earlier or need to stay later to complete your tattoo. Please try to avoid making strict time plans after your tattoo as time can often run over.

Can I bring somebody with me to my appointment?

Absolutely! Please let me know if you are bringing someone with you to your appointment as the studio is only a small space. I do have to limit this to one guest as we simply wouldn’t all squeeze in.

Anybody under the age of 18 is not allowed in the studio so, if you are struggling for childcare please let me know and I can rearrange your appointment.

Can I still get a tattoo if I feel unwell?

Unfortunately not. This is for both mine and yours safety. When you are unwell your immune system is compromised and this will affect the healing of your tattoo. Also, you may pass this onto myself and prevent me from working.

If you are unwell, please let me know and I will rearrange your appointment.

The Studio & Getting Here

3 questions
Where is the studio based?

The studio is based in my home, in Bolsover. The day before your appointment, I will send you my address and information on how to get to the studio.

Is the studio wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, you will be required to walk up multiple stairs to access the studio so, the space isn’t wheelchair accessible. If you ever need support getting into the property please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate where I possibly can. This is something I may look into in the future.

Can I have an animal free appointment?

Before entering the studio, you’ll be greeted by my dog Peaches and the cats may come and say hello as you walk up to the room. If this is something you are not comfortable with, please let me know and I can ensure any doors are closed when you enter and exit the studio.

If you are heavily allergic to animals/fur, my studio will not be suitable unfortunately.

Comfort, Design & Aftercare

4 questions
I feel really nervous and worried about my tattoo…

This is absolutely normal to feel like this! Having a new tattoo is a lifelong commitment to a piece of art on your body. If this is something you really struggle with, I will invite you for a consultation in the studio so you can familiarise yourself with myself and the environment. This will also give us the opportunity to have a good discussion about your ideas for the design you’d like to have.

I will always do what I can to make you feel comfortable.

Can I use numbing cream?

Numbing cream is brilliant for tattoos that take no longer than 4 hours. After this time, the tattoo tends to get very sore and makes the pain worse. If you would like to use numbing cream, I can recommend using TKTX. Make sure you do a patch test prior to your tattoo.

Please understand that if you have a reaction to the numbing cream on the day of your appointment I will be unable to tattoo you.

I am not happy with my design, can you change it?

Please let me know if there is anything you are unhappy with once I have sent your design. I would hate for you to get a tattoo you dislike. I understand sometimes it can be tricky to explain exactly what you want so, I may ask you to come into the studio so we can discuss your ideas.

On the rare occasion, there might be a time where I will tell you I am not the right artist for you as I have my own style that might not align with your ideas. Therefore, I will recommend another artist.

Do you offer a touch up on my new tattoo?

Of course! I have to allow at least 4 weeks for your tattoo to heal before I can touch up your new ink. I will require an image of the healed tattoo and I will arrange an appointment for you.

The first touch up will always be free of charge.

Still Have a Question?

No question is too small. I’m always happy to help before you book.
